The “Makoto” Sushi Bar-City started in December, 1999.
“Makoto” means honesty, fairness, straightforward, very true and pure.
We created the Makoto restaurant with such qualities. Always professional chefs are working at our sushi-bar.
Makoto City is Sydney's leading Sushi Bar boasting customers of over 500 a day. And the food ranges from all sorts of sushi to delightful side dishes of many types.
The sushi is served on a conveyor belt allowing customers to select dishes that they prefer as they go past right in front of them.

"Rice"
We use a blend of the best rice varieties “Nishiki” and “Koshihikari” for each season.
"Vinegar"
We serve an original special
vinegar using top quality Mitsukan Japanese rice vinegar with kombu seaweed added to it.
“Fish”
Every morning our chef chooses the best fresh local fish and the freshest salmon at the Fishmarket.
Also our tuna is especially delicious as it is selected carefully.
